Sahia Diaz

I am an RYT - 200 teacher with over 450 hours of training in yogic practices. I completed my first 200 hour certification with Yoga and the Ayurvedic Center and my second 200 hour certification with CorePower yoga. I teach vinyasa, restorative, and hot yoga formats with a passion for creating a mindful  and accessible space for everyone regardless of their level. Like many of us in the West, I initially came to yoga for the physical benefits but quickly found myself drawn to something deeper spiritually. Yoga became my path to using physical movement as a means to connect with my mind and spirit. In my journey of pursuing self knowledge, I have learned more about who I am and discovered my purpose both on and off the mat.

My goal as a teacher is to guide my students in their own journey of self discovery and individual purpose, helping them connect with their inner strength and cultivate a sense of peace both on and off the mat. Outside of yoga, I am an autism researcher focused on the emotional development of the self and I hope to incorporate yoga asana into my research as I continue. I believe we as individuals have so much to learn from the people around us. Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Join me on the mat to explore your practice in a compassionate and encouraging space. Let’s sweat, flow and restore!
